Seiko Prospex SRP789J1 is de Made in Japan J1-versie van Seiko's iconische Turtle automatische duiker. De kussenvormige roestvrijstalen kast, de zwarte wijzerplaat en de zwart/rode “Coke” unidirectionele lunette geven het horloge de onmiskenbare uitstraling van Seiko’s klassieke professionele duikhorlogereeks. Extra grote LumiBrite-markeringen en wijzers zorgen voor een goede leesbaarheid bij weinig licht, terwijl de dag-/datumweergave op 3 uur de dagelijkse bruikbaarheid toevoegt.

Binnenin is Seiko's bewezen 4R36 automatisch uurwerk met handmatige opwinding en stop-seconden-functionaliteit. Het uurwerk maakt gebruik van 24 juwelen en levert ongeveer 41 uur gangreserve. Het horloge wordt beschermd door Hardlex-kristal en een geschroefde kroon en een geschroefde achterkant van de kast, met een duikwaterdichtheid van 200-meter.
