De TAG Heuer Formula 1 CAZ2012.BA0876 is gebouwd met het assertieve karakter van de autosporttiming en combineert een antracietgrijze, sunray-geborstelde wijzerplaat met drie contrasterende zwarte chronograaftellers en een vaste zwarte keramische tachymeterring. Rode accenten op de ring, flens, subdials en bovenste chronograafknop verscherpen het race-geïnspireerde ontwerp, terwijl de volledig roestvrijstalen BA0876 armband het horloge een substantiële, veelzijdige afwerking geeft.
Kaliber 16 Automatische prestaties
De in Zwitserland gemaakte TAG Heuer Calibre 16 automatische chronograaf klopt met 28,800 trillingen per uur (4 Hz) en biedt een officiële gangreserve van ongeveer 48 uur. Het display combineert centrale uren en minuten met een centrale secondewijzer van de chronograaf, een minutenteller van 30- op 12 uur, lopende seconden op 9 uur, een teller van 12- op 6 uur en een datumvenster op 3 uur.
Op de autosport geïnspireerde wijzerplaat
De grijze sunray-geborstelde wijzerplaat wordt omlijst door een zwarte keramische tachymeterschaal met een rode TACHYMETER handtekening. De aangebrachte gepolijste indexen en de uren- en minutenwijzers zijn voorzien van een lichtgevende behandeling voor leesbaarheid bij weinig licht. Precies drie zwarte azuurblauwe subdials zorgen voor een sterk contrast, aangevuld met rode timingaccenten en het TAG Heuer-schild aan de rechterkant van de wijzerplaat.
Stalen kast en BA0876 band
De kast van fijn geborsteld en gepolijst roestvrij staal van 44 mm is 15 mm dik, met een nokafstand van 21.5 mm. Een krasbestendig saffierglas beschermt de wijzerplaat, terwijl de vastgeschroefde stalen kroon, de massief stalen achterkant van de kast en een waterdichtheid van 200-meter het dagelijks sportgebruik ondersteunen. De referentiespecifieke BA0876-armband is een volledig roestvrijstalen, fijn geborsteld ontwerp met drie schakels, beveiligd door een stalen vouwsluiting met dubbele drukknoppen.
