Seiko Prospex SPB509J1 viert de 60e verjaardag van Seiko's duikhorloge-erfgoed met een 1968-geïnspireerd GMT-ontwerp. De dynamische blauwe wijzerplaat met golftextuur, de bijpassende blauwe duikring, de goudkleurige GMT-wijzer en de roestvrijstalen armband creëren een gedurfde moderne interpretatie van Seiko's professionele duikerlijn.
Het horloge wordt aangedreven door Seiko's Kaliber 6R54 automatisch GMT-uurwerk met handmatige opwindmogelijkheid, 24 juwelen en ongeveer 72 uur gangreserve. Het beschikt over een saffierglas met antireflectiecoating, een geschroefde kroon, LumiBrite, een nieuw ontworpen verstelbare sluiting en een duikwaterdichtheid van 300-meter. De productie is beperkt tot 6,000 stuks wereldwijd.
