Seiko Prospex SPB509J1 feiert das 60-jährige Jubiläum von Seikos Taucheruhren-Erbe mit einem vom Modell von 1968 inspirierten GMT-Design. Das dynamische, blau texturierte Wellen-Zifferblatt, die dazu passende blaue Taucherlünette, der goldfarbene GMT-Zeiger und das Edelstahlarmband bilden eine kühne, moderne Interpretation von Seikos professioneller Taucheruhren-Linie.
Die Uhr wird von Seikos automatischem GMT-Kaliber 6R54 mit manuellem Aufzug, 24 Lagersteinen und einer Gangreserve von etwa 72 Stunden angetrieben. Sie verfügt über ein entspiegeltes Saphirglas, eine verschraubte Krone, LumiBrite, einen neu entwickelten, verstellbaren Verschluss und eine Wasserdichtigkeit von 300 Metern für Taucheruhren. Die Produktion ist weltweit auf 6.000 Stück limitiert.
