Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC955 Chronographe Solaire est le Championnats du monde d'athlétisme Tokyo 25 Édition limitée, créée pour célébrer le rôle de longue date de Seiko dans le chronométrage sportif. Son cadran violet au fini soleillé s'inspire de Violet Edo, une couleur historique associée à Tokyo et sélectionnée comme couleur officielle des championnats 2025. Limité à 6000 pièces dans le monde, le SSC955 combine l'héritage des courses Speedtimer avec un design commémoratif distinctif.

Propulsé par Seiko Mouvement solaire Calibre V192, la montre dispose d'un chronographe 60-minute, d'un sous-cadran 24-heure, d'une indication de réserve de marche et d'une charge solaire. Une fois complètement chargé, il peut fonctionner pendant environ six mois sans exposition supplémentaire à la lumière. Le fond du boîtier porte l'emblème des Championnats du monde d'athlétisme de Tokyo 25.
