Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SSC917 La série noire combine l'héritage de chronométrage du sport automobile de Seiko avec un boîtier et un bracelet en acier inoxydable à revêtement dur noir, un cadran gris foncé et des accents LumiBrite haute visibilité. Le boîtier compact de 39 mm maintient la montre en équilibre sur le poignet tandis que le verre saphir incurvé et la lunette tachymétrique renforcent son caractère de chronographe professionnel.

Propulsé par Seiko Calibre V192 mouvement solaire, le SSC917 se charge à partir de la lumière et fournit environ six mois de réserve de marche lorsqu'il est complètement chargé. Le chronographe mesure le temps écoulé jusqu'à 60 minutes par incréments de 1/5 de seconde et comprend un affichage 24-heure, une petite seconde, une indication de réserve de marche et un affichage de la date.
