Seiko Prospex SPB509J1 célèbre le 60e anniversaire de l'héritage des montres de plongée de Seiko avec un design GMT inspiré du 1968-. Son cadran bleu dynamique à texture ondulée, sa lunette de plongée bleue assortie, son aiguille GMT dorée et son bracelet en acier inoxydable créent une interprétation moderne et audacieuse de la lignée des plongeurs professionnels de Seiko.

La montre est alimentée par Seiko Calibre 6R54 mouvement GMT automatique avec capacité de remontage manuel, 24 rubis et environ 72 heures de réserve de marche. Il est doté d'un verre saphir avec revêtement antireflet, d'une couronne vissée, de LumiBrite, d'un fermoir réglable de nouvelle conception et d'une résistance à l'eau de 300- mètres pour le plongeur. La production est limitée à 6,000 pièces dans le monde entier.
