Seiko Prospex SPB297J1 est la réinterprétation moderne du plongeur 1965 de la série Save the Ocean Special Edition de Seiko. Son cadran texturé bleu profond inspiré des glaciers rend hommage au plongeur pionnier 1965 de Seiko tout en offrant des performances Prospex modernes pour un usage quotidien et une plongée sérieuse.

La montre est alimentée par Seiko Calibre 6R35 mouvement automatique avec capacité de remontage manuel, 24 rubis et une réserve de marche d'environ 70-heure. Le boîtier en acier inoxydable de 40.5 mm est associé à une lunette tournante unidirectionnelle noire, un verre saphir incurvé avec revêtement antireflet, des aiguilles et index LumiBrite, une couronne vissée et un fond de boîtier vissé.

Un bracelet en acier inoxydable avec verrouillage sécurisé, bouton-poussoir et rallonge de plongée complète le design de la montre-outil. La résistance à l'eau est évaluée à 200 mètres.
