Engineered for high-speed performance, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph CAZ2012.BA0970 pairs a grey sunray-brushed dial with fire-red accents, a black ceramic tachymeter bezel and a distinctive steel-and-ceramic bracelet. Its Calibre 16 automatic movement brings true mechanical chronograph performance to a bold 44 mm case.
Motorsport-Inspired Chronograph Display
The grey dial carries three black chronograph registers, applied luminous indexes and bright red timing details for immediate legibility. The 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock, running-seconds display at 9 o'clock and 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock are balanced by a date window at 3 o'clock.
Calibre 16 Automatic Performance
TAG Heuer's Calibre 16 automatic movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides approximately 48 hours of power reserve. Functions include hours, minutes, chronograph quarter-seconds, a 30-minute counter, a 12-hour counter and date.
Steel, Ceramic and 200-Meter Capability
The fine-brushed and polished stainless-steel case is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and framed by a fixed steel-and-black-ceramic tachymeter bezel. A screw-down crown and solid steel caseback help deliver 200 meters of water resistance. The BA0970 bracelet combines steel outer links with polished black ceramic center links and closes with a push-button folding clasp.
