Seiko Prospex SPB299J1 is a Save the Ocean Special Edition model inspired by Seiko’s 1968 professional diver heritage. Its glacier-textured ice-blue dial and deep blue unidirectional bezel create a distinctive Antarctic-inspired look while retaining the tool-watch capability expected from the Prospex line.
The watch is powered by Seiko’s Caliber 6R35 automatic movement with manual winding, 24 jewels and an approximately 70-hour power reserve. The stainless steel case measures 42.0 mm in diameter and is protected by sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface.
Designed for serious diving use, SPB299J1 features a screw-down crown, screw case back, LumiBrite on the hands, indexes and bezel, a secure stainless steel bracelet with diver’s extender and 200 m Diver’s water resistance.
