Seiko Prospex SPB297J1 is the 1965 Diver’s Modern Re-Interpretation from Seiko’s Save the Ocean Special Edition series. Its deep blue glacier-inspired textured dial pays tribute to Seiko’s pioneering 1965 diver while delivering modern Prospex performance for everyday wear and serious diving.
The watch is powered by Seiko’s Caliber 6R35 automatic movement with manual winding capability, 24 jewels and an approximately 70-hour power reserve. The 40.5 mm stainless steel case is paired with a black unidirectional rotating bezel, curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, LumiBrite hands and indexes, screw-down crown and screw case back.
A stainless steel bracelet with secure lock, push-button release and diver’s extender completes the tool-watch design. Water resistance is rated to 200 meters.
