The TAG Heuer Aquaracer WAY201A.BA0927 combines professional dive-watch capability with a distinctive black-and-steel design. Its 43 mm stainless-steel case frames a horizontally striped black dial, a black ceramic 12-facet dive bezel and a full stainless-steel BA0927 bracelet. Bright yellow details on the central seconds hand and lower dial bring instant recognition without compromising the clean three-hand layout.
Calibre 5 Automatic
The Swiss-made TAG Heuer Calibre 5 is a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), with an approximate power reserve of 38 hours. It displays hours, minutes, central seconds and a quick-set date. This reference is a pure three-hand automatic diver: it has no chronograph subdials, chronograph pushers or GMT hand.
Professional Dive-Watch Construction
The unidirectional rotating bezel has TAG Heuer’s characteristic 12-facet form, a black ceramic insert, a clearly engraved 60-minute scale and a luminous triangle at 12 o’clock. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment protects the dial. The screw-down crown, solid screw-down steel caseback and 300-metre / 1,000-foot water-resistance rating support serious water use, while the luminous hands and applied indexes remain easy to read in low light.
Signature Black Dial
Horizontal grooves give the black dial its nautical texture. The TAG Heuer shield and AQUARACER signature sit below 12 o’clock, while yellow CALIBRE 5 and 300 m / 1000 ft details highlight the lower dial. The slim central seconds hand carries a yellow tip. At 3 o’clock, a prominent cyclops magnifier enlarges the white date display for fast reading.
BA0927 Stainless-Steel Bracelet
The reference-specific BA0927 bracelet uses a full stainless-steel three-link construction with fine-brushed and polished finishing. It closes with a secure steel folding safety clasp with push-buttons and a diver-extension system. There are no rubber components or contrasting ceramic center links.
